Renkoo Tip of the Week

Renkoo lets you create an invitation with a group of friends and later arrange the details of where and when. You can also add more guests over time. Now you can make changes to when and where without notifying everyone. This is convenient for making small changes without emailing everyone. Yay!

Wednesday is the new Thursday

Fun things to make plans to do this week… besides visiting Carnegie Deli and Sakae Restaurant, of course…

Wednesday
See the masterpieces of George Stubbs without going to Liverpool and London. The special exhibit runs at The Frick Collection in New York City until May 27th. Tonight there is a lecture on “George Stubbs and the Image of the Horse.” Although best known for his paintings of horses, Stubbs also painted exotic animals, studied anatomy and illustrated a textbook on midwifery in 1751.

Thursday
The Tribeca Film Festival is in full swing this week in New York City. Founded by Robert De Niro and others in response to 9/11, it features screenings, concerts and a family street festival. Ellen even had to get a substitute deejay for her show this week when Jonny took off to attend.

Friday
After months of seeing Spiderman’s face on every cereal box and bag of chips, the third installment finally opens today. Leave your little ones at home with a sitter and take yourself to see Spidey’s new tricks.

Saturday
The daily double calls for two great celebratory occasions on one day this year: mint julep sipping Kentucky Derby Day, and margarita-guzzling Cinco de Mayo. Combine the two for a truly all-American good time!

Sunday
Crafters and sheep breeders come together each May for the Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival. It’s nirvana for spinners, knitters and owners of sheepdogs. There are sheepdog demos, sheep stories and sheep shearing. There might even be Sheep in a Jeep.

Renkoo helps you make plans with friends.
