Wednesday is the new Thursday

Fun things to make plans to do this week… besides visiting Bliss 57, of course…

Palio d’Asti Chef Daniel Scherotter offers guests a traditional Una Cena di Pesach (Italian Passover Dinner) tonight in San Francisco at 6pm Jewish/Italian Time. Scherotter will be collaborating with Joyce Goldstein in a Jewish-Italian celebration featuring recipes from Goldstein’s book Cucina Ebraica.

SF MOMA presents Picasso and American Art which showcases nearly 150 pieces by artists including de Kooning, Gorky, Pollock and others. This exhibit is so special, it requires a special $2.50 above regular museum admission. Afterwards, stop by the museum store and purchase the 400-page exhibition catalogue containing more than 300 images.

House of Blues presents 2007 Grammy nominees John Legend and Corinne Bailey Rae at Hollywood’s Universal CityWalk tonight. No seat is more than 150 feet away from the stage, so get a group of friends together for dinner and then enjoy the show!

LA’s Olvera Street has been celebrating the Blessing of the Animals since 1930. The procession begins at 2pm, so bring your own furry friends and follow the flower-decorated cow leader. Cows, cats, dogs, snakes, pigs, sheep, goats, donkeys, horses, opossums, hamsters, birds, monkeys, llamas, camels, chickens and peacocks have all shown up for this event in the past.

Happy Easter! After working up an appetite with a traditional and colorful egg hunt, take the family to a Top 10 hotel brunch. Then nap the day away with your belly full of chocolate, champagne and of course — eggs.

Renkoo helps you make plans with friends.
