| Renkoo Tip of the Week
You’ve cuddled your pets and boozed it up, now it’s time to let out your aggression. Welcome to Warbots, where you take turns blasting your frenemies, one shot at a time from opposite ends of the battlefield. On each turn you can adjust the angle and power of your shot and watch to see where it lands. The wind can vary though, so you never know how successful you’ll be! We like to keep you engaged. Ready, set, fire! |
Wednesday is the new Thursday

Zero01 presents the second biennial 01SJ, a festival of art on the edge in San Jose. The five-day festival of digital arts opens in front of the San Jose Museum of Art and includes exhibitions, films, concerts, performances and more throughout the downtown area. A full list of events will help you plan your time and a digital arts fest would not be complete without its own blog.

Longwood Gardens, located 30 miles outside of Philadelphia, has a display of large-scale treehouses called Nature’s Castles. There are three treehouses: the Lookout Loft, the Canopy Cathedral and simply, The Birdhouse. If giant birdhouses aren’t your thing, perhaps the Gardens’ long and storied history will pull you in.

The Renkooks know what we’re doing on Friday! We’re going to watch Jack Black become Kung Fu Panda on opening day. We’ve been patiently waiting for months with only a trailer to entertain us. We are definitely prepared for awesomeness.

The Silence Before Bach is a 102-minute, non-narrative film from Spanish director Pere Portabella. Wexner Center for the Arts in Columbus calls the film an “audiovisual delight” with vignettes set to the composer’s music. Are the clips disparate and disconnected, or are they not?

After a week of art and film, it’s time to go out and play. NYC invites you to their Come Out & Play Festival with more than 20 games for the public to play. Bluestockings is the festival’s headquarters and activities include things such as Snap-Shot-City and Competitive Picknicking. You already had lunch? Then how about a round of Human Blackjack?
